Seychelles Special Envoy
Justin Etzin is a Special Envoy for the Republic of Seychelles. In this capacity he works with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other senior state offices on matters that advance the national interest. His responsibilities include supporting international engagement, encouraging foreign investment, assisting with priority development projects, strengthening cooperation with partner governments, and representing Seychelles in selected outreach with institutions and private sector groups. His work focuses on facilitating constructive dialogue, opening doors for strategic partnerships, and assisting the government with initiatives that contribute to national progress.
Justin is also a Seychellois entrepreneur and the Founder, investor and Chief Executive Officer of Global Ocean Investments. He builds and invests in companies in hospitality, healthcare, insurance, tourism and development across Europe, Africa, North America and the Caribbean. In Seychelles he operates 1st Insurance Seychelles, Seychelles Medical Services, Seychelles Travel and a range of tourism ventures.
He led the successful sourcing effort that secured the national supply of COVID vaccines during a critical period for the country. He continues to support public programs through regular donations of medical equipment, community resources and other government directed needs that contribute to the wellbeing of the islands.
